Triad Stage At The Pyrle Theatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a true gem in Greensboro’s arts scene? Triad Stage at The Pyrle Theatre is where the magic happens. This isn’t just a theater; it’s a community hub that’s been recognized with awards from the North Carolina Theatre Conference for its creative achievements, which honestly makes you feel like they’re doing something right. Since 2005, their annual holiday concert featuring local choirs has become a beloved tradition, filling the seats year after year with families and fans singing along. And it’s not all local stuff, in 2014, they pulled off a pretty big deal by hosting a fundraising event with none other than John Legend himself, which, let’s be honest, is kinda mind-blowing. Over the years they’ve brought in major touring productions like The Lion King in 2016 and Wicked in 2018, which totally lit up the stage and drew huge crowds. The theatre itself is pretty cozy but offers some neat features like balcony boxes that give you a semi-private view of the orchestra level, perfect for a romantic date or just catching the show in peace. The mezzanine balcony is often reserved for special groups, so if you’re lucky, you might get a primo spot. Getting there is easy too, start at the community college, walk south on Education Drive then turn left onto Theatre Court or head west on Culture Way from the cultural center and turn onto Elm Street. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Triad Stage at The Pyrle Theatre is a must-see for anyone craving a night of top-notch performances and good vibes.
